The next day, Monday June 27 (Day 32), with rest and Ben Nevis in mind, I returned to Fort William. Andy, Fort William Backpackers' genial host, was also a knowledgeable outdoorsman. We had pored over maps of the Cape Wrath Trail earlier, but he also knew a great deal about the Cairngorms and during this stay encouraged me to visit them.
