My main interest was still 80 meter and 40 meter CW, so the AT-1 and VF-1 still saw plenty of use. I don't know what happened to the homebrew transmitter with the pair of 807s; I vaguely remember being told to tune to maximize my grid current... bad advice that --- I think --- ruined the 807s.
