In early 1959 I moved the shack to my upstairs bedroom, and the J-38 key has been replaced by a Johnson Speed-X bug (on the desk in front of the receiver). The 6AG7 10-watt transmitter is on a bookcase to the right of the SX-99, and I'm using my second homebrew transmitter, a 6146 75-watt rig from the 1958 Radio Amateur's Handbook; it's just to the right of the chair.
