Starting for Alaska! Leaving home at 9AM Thursday May 18 2017, I said goodbye to my friend Gary (photo) and was soon caught in near stop-and-go traffic on the Baltimore Beltway. It was nice to reach highway speed on I-70 west; already hot, 92F was the day's forecast.
