I'd arrived at Little Laurel Shelter at 4:40 PM and finished a long climb at 6:15... didn't go to the fire tower! Plan was to camp at Jones Meadow (2.1 mi past LL Shelter) but I didn't know if this was it or not, and didn't like the look of it.
