I left the Siler Bald Shelter about 8:30 AM and spent the morning walking in this heavy mist. This 12:45 photo, near the Wayah Bald summit, was snapped by Cinnamon, one of the young Siler Bald group; he'd been slowed by persistent trouble with heel blisters.
