On March 16, my 6th day, I left Blue Mountain Shelter about 8:20 AM. Half an hour later I met the charming Slow But Sure and her husband, Because of Her. At 10 AM I reached my first "Trail Magic," provided once a year by Dave, Andrew, and Bob, at the large Unicoi Gap parking area. I enjoyed fruit, soft drinks, and hot-dog rolls with relish!
