Day 2 was rough, with a lot of rain. Indianapolis was tough: hard rain, poor vision, and heavy speeding truck traffic. At 2 PM (261 miles) I stopped at the Terre Haute IN Holiday Inn Express and stayed for Day 3, persuaded by dramatic forecasts of thunderstorms, hail, lightning, and 60-mph wind gusts for St. Louis, where I'd be heading.
